Fashion & Retail
A brand identity created fourteen years ago, still working as the business grows from one store to three.
Services
The brief
The Cream Store is an independent clothing and lifestyle retailer established in Nuneaton in 2005, stocking contemporary and streetwear brands from Carhartt WIP and Fred Perry to Edwin and Barbour. The founder, Manish Patel, had a background in graphic design and fashion, and had designed the original brand identity himself. He recognised that a professional studio would push it further and came to us for a full rebrand.
The thinking
Manish knew exactly what good looked like, which made the collaboration precise and efficient. We developed a complete brand identity that could sit comfortably alongside the premium brands The Cream Store carries while giving the business a presence of its own.
The outcome
The identity is still in use fourteen years later. The Cream Store has grown from a single shop in Nuneaton to a second location in Sheffield, with a third opening in Birmingham this year.
