Slow Fashion
A slow fashion brand reignited with a new website and photography that connects craftsmanship to landscape.
The brief
Salt & Co Studio is a slow fashion brand based in Derbyshire, founded by Eloise Salter, a trained bespoke tailor from Savile Row. Every garment is handmade by Eloise using sustainably sourced natural fabrics. The brand had gone quiet through the pandemic, with Eloise focusing on teaching rather than her own business. She came to us to reignite it with a new website, product photography and editorial photography.
The thinking
The product photography was shot in the studio using natural models of varying sizes, shapes and ethnicities, with artisan lighting alongside flat product shots. For the editorial work we headed out to Curbar Edge in the Peak District with Eloise and the model, connecting the clothing to the landscape it sits within. The website was built as an eCommerce platform to sell directly, reflecting the same considered, unhurried quality as the clothes themselves.
The outcome
The new site has driven sales and renewed interest in the brand. Eloise is now doing pop-up events, markets and is stocked in brand-aligned stores across the country. The photography continues to define how Salt & Co Studio presents itself across every touchpoint.
