A twenty-year partnership, now in its fourth website and delivering measurable commercial results.

The brief

SKD Tapes is a converter of technical self-adhesive tapes based in Cannock, Staffordshire, supplying industry and trade clients across the UK and mainland Europe. We have worked with the business for twenty years and recently completed the fourth version of their main website. The previous site was dating and no longer reflected where the company had grown to.

The thinking

We worked within SKD’s existing brand identity to create a website that accurately represents the business today. Alongside the site, we provide ongoing marketing support including newsletters, social media management, editorial photography and promotional videos. The relationship is a strategic partnership rather than a project-by-project arrangement.

The outcome

Organic search results have improved significantly, enquiries have doubled and sales have increased. The work has contributed directly to SKD landing large contracts. Their eCommerce operation has also seen sales double on the previous year. Twenty years in, the partnership continues to deliver.
